JAMF Pro is used on campus to simplify the setup, administration, and maintenance of Apple devices with a comprehensive platform for inventory, provisioning, updating and maintenance. JAMF Pro increases the efficiency of your local IT staff, reduces the cost of ownership, and minimizes liability by allowing your organization to have a well maintained Apple ecosystem provided by the JAMF Pro product and ECM.
Volume Purchase Program (VPP) and Apple Device Enrollment (ADE)
VPP allows your department to buy apps in volume for your Apple devices. It also provides the University of Iowa with complete ownership and control of content through JAMF Pro and allows deployment of Apps and Books over the air.
ADE allows all your institutionally-owned devices to be automatically enrolled in JAMF Pro during activation.
